SUCH IMAGERY. obsessed. can't wait to buy. sad i missed it originally.
these lyrics. wow. :
"give me coffee, king size cup.
come on kitty cat filler up
what's your name little butter cup?
that's for me to know and you to make up"
AND
"look at you smoking in them neon lights under the thunder,
you know, you look so nice
make me wonder how you spend them nights.
me i spend them looking for a man i like.
like you. like you. like you..."

we hiked a little mountain backwards this weekend. drove to the top, hiked down then back up. simply not as rewarding. i also looked through the quarter binoculars for the first time ever. got to spy on some pretty cool boats on the nearby lake. happy (belated) summer solstice!
i love this song this week:

i think i've listened to YACHT's newish song- dystopia (the earth is on fire) 25 times today. little obsession. it's so catchy and i like the images the lyrics are painting in my head. inspired some thoughts too. anyway, quite excited to hear the rest of the album in the end of june.
download it for free on YACHT's website.

in the north east "spring skiing" is the most carefree-fun times on a mountain that you can get. people just get goofy. they break out the fun costumes and ridiculous behavior. while snow is either awesome or awful, the sun and the good cheer more than makes up for it. when you take a break from the mountain it's warm enough to sit out on the massive deck/patio in an adirondack chair relaxing with friends and a possible beer in hand. here's a massive (by my terms) play list inspired by a day of springtime at a mountain. and here's to a good weekend!

old gondola house
if you look at this right, the rock pile looks slightly like a sand dune. .
